BIO
Emily Renna is an Olympic Hopeful in the sport of Bobsledding and represents the USA on a global stage. While she’s not training to be the best in the world sliding down any icy track sometimes at 90+ mph, she works in Biotech within the Clinical Operations space. Working for both global and smaller pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as helping to conduct a research study in graduate school, Emily has over nine years of experience in clinical trials. Emily is used to the dual role however as she competed in Division 1 Track and Field at the University of Rhode Island while pursuing a bachelors and eventually a Master’s degree in exercise science. During that time Emily completed a thesis and research project as well. Emily’s background and current experiences bring a unique blend of proficiencies and expertise in both the elite athletics space as well as the clinical trial space.
